Vzw Scaldisnet (hereafter: 'the association') pays a lot of attention and care to its website and communication channels. We strive to ensure that all information is correct, understandable and accurate. By using our site you are deemed to agree with this user agreement and to know it.

Vzw Scaldisnet can not be held responsible for inaccuracies or shortcomings in the data as mentioned on the site. The association is not responsible towards users or third parties for possible direct, indirect, or incidental damage caused by its negligence or oblivion in the provision of information. The association can not be held responsible for the temporary failure or incorrect functioning of the system. The association is not responsible for links to sites managed by third parties.
PRIVACY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Vzw Scaldisnet considers it important to protect the personal data and privacy of its users. Below you can read what that contains.
We collect only personal information that is necessary to ensure optimal operation of the site. This information can be used by the association to keep the users of the site informed of the actions, campaigns and newsletters, provided the user has specifically indicated this. The association is commited never to release this information to third parties without prior permission. Messages directed to professional e-mail addresses of the @scaldisnet.be domain can be handled or read by others than the specific addressee. Scaldisnet.be uses cookies to improve accessibility and user-friendliness. More specifically, we use the Google Analytics website for our statistics. This privacy policy applies to all personal data processed by the association of its members, subscribers, participants, donors, and all other contacts. If you provide personal data to the association (for example, to see a question answered by e-mail or telephone), you expressly give permission to process your personal data in line with this privacy policy.
1. ASSOCIATION
The person responsible for the processing of the personal data is: vzw Scaldisnet, Akenkaai 2bis, 1000 Brussels.
2. WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS AND WITH WHAT OBJECTIVE?
In the context of your contacts with the association, the following personal data are processed (= stored, saved, used ...):
- first and last name
- address data
- phone number
- e-mailadress
- bank account number
The association processes the personal data mentioned above for the following purposes:
- your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will be used to contact you about your membership and any cancellation thereof, for answering your questions or calls, for providing the information you requested or for dealing with the questions you have asked;
- your name, address, telephone number and data are used for the targeted delivery of invitations and information about the services, activities and surveys organized by the organization within the context of membership;
- your name and bank account number are used to settle financial arrangements such as membership fees, participation payments or donations.
- your name and telephone number will be used up to 5 years after your membership or participation in order to ask you about your experiences with the association and to inform you about the possible continuation of the cooperation.
Opt out: the association uses your name and e-mail address to send you our e-mail newsletter with information about activities, services and other interesting information that we think may be useful or interesting to you, unless you have indicated that you do not want to receive these e-mails. Cancellation for these mailings is possible at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the mailing.
By phone: The association uses your name and telephone number to inform you by telephone about services, activities and companies of the association. The association can anonymize the personal data and then use it for research purposes and to optimize its range of services and activities. The grouped and anonymized data can never be traced back to you as an individual.
3. RETENTION PERIOD
The association processes and stores your personal data for the duration of your membership and up to 5 years after the end thereof. Immediately after the aforementioned retention period, the association will destroy your personal data and/or anonymise, unless it is obliged by law (for example under the vzw or tax legislation) to keep certain personal data longer. In the latter case, only this specific personal data will be retained during the legal storage period.
4. SECURITY MEASURES AND EDITORS
4.1. To protect your personal data, the association has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures. In this way your personal data is protected against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against unintentional loss, destruction or damage.
4.2. For the processing of personal data, the association sometimes uses services from third parties. They process the personal data exclusively on behalf of the association. The association has concluded a processor agreement with them in which the processor is obliged to comply with all obligations under the privacy law, the European general data protection regulation and this privacy policy.
5. INSPECTION LAW, REMOVAL, COMPLAINTS AND QUESTIONS
5.1. Via our contact form or by letter you can request to view, receive, change or delete your personal data. The association will always process your request immediately and inform you, at least within one month of receipt of the request, about the follow-up. If the association does not grant your request, it will inform you about the reasons for this.
5.2. If you wish to object to the (further) processing of your personal data as referred to in Article 2, you can also contact us. The association will immediately deal with the objection, at least within one month, and delete the relevant personal data, unless it can not do so on the basis of a legal obligation. If the latter is the case, the organization will inform you of this.
5.3. Any other questions or comments about this privacy policy can be directed to our administration and via our contact form.
6. MODIFICATIONS
This privacy policy can be changed. The changes will be announced via our website. We encourage you to regularly review our privacy policy.
